For the third time in the program’s history, the Missouri Tigers have been to a bowl game for four straight seasons. Can Eli Drinkwitz coach the Tigers to a fifth straight bowl, one off the record streak set by Gary Pinkel from 2006-2011?

Our odds say yes.

With the Tigers opener against FBS Central Arkansas nearly three weeks away, BetMissouri.com, your source for the latest Missouri sports betting news, has developed the following odds for where the Tigers will go bowling this season.

Analyzing Missouri's Chances in the SEC

Coming off a 10-3 season last year, the Tigers are predicted to finish 12th in the 16-team Southeastern Conference preseason media poll. However, Mizzou’s SEC slate features just one game against a top national title contender, Alabama. They also play three teams, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt, that media members pick to finish behind the Tigers.

Considering Missouri should finish no worse than 3-1 in nonconference games, they would only need three wins in SEC play to get a bowl bid.

The Tigers have 13 of 22 starters returning from last season’s team, but they will feature plenty of new faces on offense, including a starting quarterback who likely won’t be named until closer to the season opener. Whoever gets the snaps will have one of the top receivers in the SEC as their primary target. Kevin Coleman Jr., caught 74 passes for 932 yards and six scores as a sophomore with Mississippi State last season, and the new Missouri wideout earned preseason third-team honors last month.
