Royals Best And Worst Months Past 3 Years

One month over .500 would be nice for fans awaiting the state to adopt legal Missouri sportsbook apps. But the Royals have not achieved that over six months of a baseball season since 2021, when Baseball-Reference.com data is added up from those three seasons combined.

Based on the data generated, the Royals play best in the month of September with a 38-40 record and .487 win-loss percentage.

April, the first month of the season, comes in with the third worst record at 29-42 (a .408 winning percentage) for the past three seasons combined. May is second worst at 30-54 (.424). The start of summer is the worst as Kansas City is 24-55 (.304) for June. July (34-43, .442) and August (36-49, .424) are the Royals’ two better months of the season.

Kansas City has declined from 74 wins in the 2021 season to 65 in 2022 to a paltry 56 victories last season as the franchise tied for its worst season ever with a .346 winning percentage (the 2005 team also went 56-106).

Kansas City Royals 2024 Odds

Last season, Kansas City was 33-48 at home, 23-58 on the road and 20-32 against their American League Central Division foes.
