The start of summer is the worst as Kansas City is 24-55 (.304) for June. July (34-43, .442) and August (36-49, .424) are the Royals’ two better months of the season.
Kansas City has declined from 74 wins in the 2021 season to 65 in 2022 to a paltry 56 victories last season as the franchise tied for its worst season ever with a .346 winning percentage (the 2005 team also went 56-106).

The Royals open their 2024 campaign with a three-game homestand versus the Minnesota Twins starting March 28 at 3:10 p.m. Central. After the short stint at home, the Royals hit the road to play a three-game set at the Baltimore Orioles (April 1-3).
