Missouri sports betting is entering its first full NFL regular season under state regulation, with the market now established ahead of the 2026 football season and major sportsbook partnerships with the NFL adding another layer to the state's first full campaign. The state's mobile wagering market launched December 1, 2025, after voters approved Amendment 2 in November 2024 by a certified margin of 2,961 votes. A Fast Start

Missouri's first full month of legal wagering produced more than $543 million in bets. Sportsbooks reported $543 million in total wagers during December 2025, with approximately $539 million coming through mobile platforms, meaning more than 99% of the state's handle came from online wagering. Operators paid out approximately $438 million in winning wagers, while promotional deductions totaled roughly $125 million. 

Missouri collected approximately $521,000 in sports wagering tax revenue during December under the state's 10% tax rate on adjusted gross sports wagering revenue. The launch followed a busy first day, when GeoComply recorded more than 250,000 active betting accounts and 2.6 million geolocation checks.

Eight MO betting apps are currently available to Missouri bettors: BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, Circa Sports, DraftKings, Fanatics Sportsbook, FanDuel, bet365 and theScore Bet. The Missouri Gaming Commission's June 2026 financial report lists all eight mobile operators. Penn Sports Interactive is the licensee for the platform now branded as theScore Bet, while DraftKings and Circa Sports operate under direct mobile licenses.

NFL Partnerships Expand Ahead of Season

The NFL announced August 27 that DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics Sportsbook each signed new multiyear agreements with the league. The partnerships give the operators rights to use NFL marks in the sports betting category and access to official league statistics, including real time play by play data, Next Gen Stats and BetVision.

DraftKings Missouri has been an official sports betting operator of the Kansas City Chiefs since 2022. With DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics all operating in Missouri, bettors can check Kansas City Chiefs odds and place regulated wagers on games during the 2026 season.

Kansas City Chiefs odds are strong across Missouri's licensed operators as they look to bounce back from a season without a trip to the playoffs.

Patrick Mahomes is entering the season with a major storyline of his own. The Kansas City quarterback is returning from the season ending knee injury he suffered in December 2025 and is looking to make his comeback in Week 1. Mahomes is currently the favorite to win the 2026 NFL Comeback Player of the Year award. DraftKings has him at +185, putting him ahead of Jayden Daniels at +400 in the latest odds.
