Missouri Bettors Wagered Nearly $247 Million in July

The Missouri Gaming Commission's July 2026 sports wagering financial reports show Missouri sports betting generated $246.8 million in total handle during the month. The total included $3.27 million wagered at eight retail casino sportsbooks and $243.54 million through eight mobile operators. Mobile wagering accounted for about 98.7% of the state's total handle.

What the Numbers Show

Circa Sports was the only operator to report negative adjusted gross revenue for July. Its gross revenue totaled $1.53 million, but deductions totaled $1.58 million, resulting in negative adjusted gross revenue of $49,744.42. After accounting for a $65,405.13 negative AGR amount from the prior month, Circa reported negative taxable gross revenue of $115,149.55 and owed no sports wagering tax.

All other retail and MO betting apps reported positive taxable gross revenue for July. The Missouri Gaming Commission notes that the figures in the July 2026 reports are subject to adjustment.

Mobile Handles Nearly All the Action

Retail sportsbooks inside Missouri's casinos took in $3.27 million in wagers during July, while mobile platforms combined for $243.54 million. DraftKings led the mobile market with $108.83 million in handle, followed by FanDuel at $66.79 million. Bet365 Missouri reported $21.32 million, while Fanatics reached $16.80 million. BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, theScore Bet MO and Circa Sports accounted for the remaining mobile handle.

Tax Collections Cross $2 Million

The state reported $21.79 million in taxable gross revenue for July, resulting in $2.19 million in sports wagering tax. The taxable figure reflects deductions reported by each operator, including winnings paid out, voided or cancelled wagers, free play and federal taxes. Mobile operators accounted for $21.21 million of the state's taxable gross revenue, compared with $584,275 from retail sportsbooks.
